Grades 4 - 6

Morphology is explicitly mentioned in the new English Language Arts and Literature 4-6 being implemented in the 2023-2024 school year. Now is the time to build your foundational knowledge of this concept. This series will start at the very beginning and go a little deeper each time so that you can explore morphology with your students confidently. Sessions will offer both background knowledge building and classroom activities that you can use with your students.

The content of the sessions are similar to the series that ran from February - April 2023. We have added three workshops this time around so teachers can practice the skills and concepts Mary Beth shares in the sessions. If you previously registered for this series and only wish to attend the workshops, please register for Understanding and Teaching Morphology Workshops.
